DESCRIPTION

Centring rings are an essential component in wheel rim installation. They are necessary when installing non-original wheel rims, i.e. those whose centre bore does not match the vehicle hub.

The main task of centring rings is to eliminate the empty space between the centring hole of the wheel rim and the hub. Failure to remove this space may result in wheel vibration and steering wheel vibration, which causes increased wear on the steering system and suspension components of the car. These problems most often occur at speeds of 90-120 km/h.

How to choose the size of the rings?

In order to correctly select centring rings yourself, you need to check two parameters:

1 – The diameter of the centre hole of the rim (which will correspond to the outer diameter of the ring)

2 – The diameter of the hub (which will correspond to the inner diameter of the ring)

The diameter of the rim centre hole can be found in the manufacturer's specifications, and the diameter of the hub in the vehicle documentation. If you have difficulty finding these parameters, please contact us – we will help you professionally select the appropriate centring rings.

Hub Centric Rings 74.1 x 67.1 for Alloy Wheels 2

Premium 74.1 x 67.1 centring rings are made of heat-resistant polycarbonate with precise dimensions. This material does not stick to the hub and is characterised by its hardness and resistance to cracking, even under the most dynamic loads. Its precise dimensions ensure accurate centring on the vehicle wheel hub and prevent vibrations.

Thanks to the high quality of the materials and dimensional accuracy, premium plastic centring rings can withstand a large number of wheel removal and installation procedures and do not differ in service life from their more expensive metal counterparts.
