FARAD has been manufacturing anti-theft systems for over 40 years. Its customers include more than 25 major automotive brands, including Audi, Seat, BMW, Skoda, Volkswagen and Alfa Romeo.
FARAD's security nuts are manufactured in accordance with ISO/TS, IATF standards and are also approved by the Thatcham World Test Centre. With a hardened alloy steel thread, more than 400 intricate groove patterns, a nut strength class of 10, FARAD anti-theft systems provide the best protection for steel and aluminium wheels.
One of the main advantages of FARAD security nuts over similar products from other manufacturers is the reinforced groove pattern elements, which resist both careless and over-tightening.
For convenience and safety, the set includes 2 spanners (adapters between the locknut and a normal spanner) that can withstand a torque of up to 400 N/m, which is four times the tightening torque of the wheel nuts (80-120 N/m). If lost, it is possible to order a new spanner specifically for your groove pattern.

The set consists of 4 security nuts and 2 keys with an exclusive groove pattern. The hardened head cannot be unscrewed without a suitable spanner. The heat-treated metal of the nuts resists shearing/breaking attempts, and the reinforced additional swivel sleeve and the low position of the nuts inside the rim preclude the possibility of theft with improvised tools (wrench/setter key, pliers, etc.).
Even in the workshop, it takes 2 to 4 hours to remove the FARAD STARLOCK nuts without a suitable spanner, which is the best guarantee of your car's safety. At the same time, thanks to the automatic centring system, the process of unscrewing or tightening the FARAD STARLOCK nuts is as simple as possible and takes just a few minutes.
For the aesthetic appearance of your car, the FARAD STARLOCK nut set has a different colour coating and shape and fits different types of rims (cast, turned, forged). A special code included in the packaging allows the owner to easily recover the key in case of loss.
