FARAD security caps - reliable protection for your rims.
FARAD has been manufacturing anti-theft systems for over 40 years. Its customers include more than 25 major automotive brands, including Audi, Seat, BMW, Skoda, Volkswagen and Alfa Romeo.
FARAD's security nuts are manufactured in accordance with ISO/TS, IATF standards and are also approved by the Thatcham World Test Centre. With a hardened alloy steel thread, more than 400 intricate groove patterns, a nut strength class of 10, FARAD anti-theft systems provide the best protection for steel and aluminium wheels.
One of the main advantages of FARAD security nuts over similar products from other manufacturers is the reinforced groove pattern elements, which resist both careless and over-tightening.
For convenience and safety, the set includes 2 spanners (adapters between the locknut and a normal spanner) that can withstand a torque of up to 400 N/m, which is four times the tightening torque of the wheel nuts (80-120 N/m). If lost, it is possible to order a new spanner specifically for your groove pattern.
MICROLOCK
Anti-theft device for the protection of aluminium wheels with narrow bores up to 21 mm in diameter.
The combination design means that no tool can remove MICROLOCK screws from the rim. The head of the bolt and nut is impossible to puncture; the resistance class of the bolt body is 10.9.
FARAD M12x1.5x36mm MICROLOCK anti-theft bolts are approved by the world's leading car manufacturers and available for all types of vehicles and the British Thatcham Institute.
The set consists of 4 securing ones and a key with an exclusive groove pattern. The heat-treated bolt metal is resistant to shear/break attempts. The compact design is ideal for rims requiring narrow-hole screws.
Even in the workshop, the removal of FARAD MICROLOCK screws without a suitable spanner takes between 2 and 4 hours, which is the best guarantee of your car's safety. At the same time, thanks to the automatic centring system, the process of unscrewing or tightening FARAD MICROLOCK screws is as simple as possible and takes just a few minutes.
