DESCRIPTION
Centering rings are an essential part of rim assembly. The necessity for their use arises during the installation of non-original rims, i.e. rims whose central hole does not match the hub of the vehicle.
The main task of centring rings is to eliminate the empty space between the centring hole of the rim and the hub. If this space is not eliminated, there is a risk of wheel vibration, vibration of the steering wheel, which o causes increased wear on the steering and suspension components of the car. These problems most commonly occur at speeds of 90-120 km/h.
How do I choose my ring size?
For the correct self-selection of centring rings we need to check 2 parameters:
1 - Diameter of the centre hole of the rim (which will correspond to the outer diameter of the ring)
.2 - Hub diameter (which will correspond to the inner diameter of the ring)
