Note: In order to correctly select the length of the bolt, the parameter of the working length (L), which they also call thread length, should be used. This parameter is always measured from the end of the taper even if the working part is not threaded to the embedment itself.
The M14x1.25x28mm wheel rim bolt is made from cold-formed steel. All forming steps are carried out using moulds produced in-house by Farad. After cold forming, the threads are created by rolling.
Through subsequent heat treatment and a precise material hardening process, the Farad wheel rim bolt has a strength class of 10.9. Following these processes, a thorough quality check of the threads, structure, dimensions and shape is carried out.
