Note: In order to correctly select the length of the screw, the working length parameter (L) should be used, which is extended in these screws compared to the standard ones thanks to the longer thread. The working length parameter is always measured from the end of the ball even if the working part is not threaded to the embedment itself.
DESCRIPTION
FARAD fasteners are made of cold-formed steel. All forming steps are carried out using moulds produced in-house by Farad. After cold forming, the threads are created by rolling.
Thanks to the subsequent heat treatment and the precise hardening process of the material, the Farad wheel rim bolt has a strength class of 10.9. Following these processes, a thorough quality control of the threads, structure, dimensions and shape is carried out.
