FARAD security nuts are manufactured in accordance with ISO/TS and IATF standards and have been approved by the Thatcham Research Centre. With a hardened alloy steel thread, over 400 complex groove patterns and a nut strength class of 10, FARAD anti-theft systems provide the best protection for steel and aluminium rims.
One of the main advantages of FARAD security nuts compared to similar products from other manufacturers is the reinforced groove pattern, which is resistant to both careless and excessive tightening.
For convenience and safety, the set includes 2 keys (adapters between the security nut and a regular key) that can withstand a torque of up to 400 N/m, which is four times more than the torque required to tighten the nuts to the wheels (80-120 N/m). If lost, it is possible to order a new spanner specifically for your groove pattern.
