FARAD's security features are manufactured in accordance with ISO/TS, IATF standards and have been approved by the Thatcham World Test Centre. With a thread of hardened alloy steel, more than 400 intricate groove patterns, a corresponding strength class, FARAD anti-theft systems provide the best protection for steel and aluminium wheels.
One of the main advantages of FARAD's security features over similar products from other manufacturers is the reinforced groove pattern elements, which are resistant to both careless and over-tightening.
The kit includes a wrench-cap (an adapter between the security device and a normal spanner) that can withstand a torque of up to 400 N/m, which is almost double the maximum tightening torque for wheel fixings (80-220 N/m). If lost, it is possible to order a new key specifically for your groove pattern, thanks to the code that is included in the kit.

FARAD STARLOCK is state-of-the-art technology to prevent wheel theft. FARAD STARLOCK security features are approved by the world's leading car manufacturers and are available for all types of vehicles.
The hardened head cannot be unscrewed without a suitable spanner. The heat-treated metal of the security features resists shear/break attempts, while the reinforced additional swivel sleeve and the low position of the security features inside the rim preclude the possibility of theft with improvised tools (wrench/adjustable key, pliers, etc.).
Even in the workshop, it takes 2 to 4 hours to remove the FARAD STARLOCK safety features without a suitable spanner, which is the best guarantee of your car's safety. At the same time, thanks to the automatic centring system, the process of unscrewing or tightening the FARAD STARLOCK restraints is as simple as possible and takes just a few minutes.
For an aesthetically pleasing appearance of your car, the FARAD STARLOCK nut set has a different colour coating and shape and fits different types of rims (cast, turned, forged). A special code included in the packaging allows the owner to easily recover the key in case of loss.
FARAD security caps have been approved by the Thatcham (UK) global insurance research centre and are officially recognised as the most reliable and high quality type of anti-theft system in the world.
